The site is located in an area surrounded by generous green open spaces that can provide opportunities for outdoor recreation for residents of all ages as well as active and educational play for children.
Landscaped areas are provided at ground floor to provide a welcoming environment for residents and to improve the footpath to the station. The landscape design also proposes to enhance Bedfont Lane with street trees and planting. All residents will have access to a large, south facing communal roof terrace on the eighth floor. Several proposals for the ground floor and the roof terrace have been produced by Turkington Martin Landscape Architects. Play space will be located at ground floor.
The landscaping team are currently looking at a few different play space options which will be suitable for children from the ages of 5-11 to enjoy and use for a number of uses including climbing, balancing, hiding, exploratory play and sliding. You can see a series of potential uses of this space below.
